Recording available from last week's market update seminar

During last week’s Market Update Seminar, we looked at how the industry performed in Q4 2020, heard from Peter Papadakos, Green Street on sector preference as an indicator of outperformance and were joined by a panel of industry experts Jessica Hardman, DWS, Xavier Jongen, Catella Residential Investment Management and Vincenzo Nocerino, BNP Paribas REIM who shared insights into the current non-listed real estate industry. 

We learned that: 

• There are signs of recovery and renewed investor confidence with a strong year end for European non-listed real estate
• There is a large dispersion of performance across the board in Q4: Germany and the Nordics are in the lead and the UK is back in positive territory. A significant rebound for industrial/logistics but retail remains negative for a sixth consecutive quarter. 
• Core funds out performed, again. 
• The investable universe is expanding with a greater choice of sector and risk opportunity than we saw pre COVID-19.
