The INREV Advanced Net Asset Value (NAV) training provides reporting, finance and accounting professionals with a deep understanding of INREV NAV to help them excel against the competition.
The course delivers an in-depth understanding of market best practices and examples for adjustments, calculations and practical challenges related to INREV NAV. Led by leading industry experts John Ravoisin, PwC, and Jef Holland, Deloitte, there is an emphasis on group discussions and case studies to allow participants to share their views.

The course consists of an eLearning module and a 1.5-day classroom training.
A solid understanding of INREV NAV is required to examine detailed analysis for adjustments. This includes extensive analysis of the topic, practical applications for vehicle types, adjustments for the fair value of assets and liabilities, and those related to the effects of the settlement.
Participants can share their INREV NAV examples and questions with INREV prior to the course, to be discussed during training.
The course will cover the following topics:
- Analysis of the INREV NAV Guidelines module
- Examples of detailed adjustments and advanced calculations
- Common challenges when producing the calculations
- Reporting requirements for investor reports and the Standard Delivery Data Sheet (SDDS)
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Know the approach and details of INREV NAV calculations
- Understand INREV NAV in-depth adjustments
- Recognise and understand INREV NAV best practices in the market
The course is ideal for investors, investment managers, fund of fund managers, as well as advisors who play a central role in calculating and reviewing INREV NAV. This can include CFOs, reporting specialists, fund controllers, accountants, and auditors, as well as financial analysts and managers.

One-hour eLearning Prerequisite Module
Before registering for the INREV Advanced NAV training, all participants must complete a one-hour eLearning module as a prerequisite. This additional eLearning is a stepping stone to ensure everyone is at the same level before attending the advanced classroom training. After completing the eLearning module, your NAV knowledge will be tested with a small case study.
Note: There are no additional costs to participate in this eLearning module.
This advanced course is open to members and non-members and is an elective course for the INREV/Henley Certificate for Non-listed Real Estate Investments.
