The Q2 European non-listed real estate market performance turns positive

The performance of the INREV Quarterly Fund Index improved to 0.97% in Q2, up from 0.02% a quarter earlier. The latest results reveal the first positive capital growth since Q2 2022.

The Q2 2024 release includes 308 funds with a combined GAV of €296.7 billion.

Key highlights:

  • Core funds consolidate their positive performance in Q2, with a total return of 1.02%
  • For the first time since Q2 2022, all the single sector fund segments recorded positive performance. The residential focused funds outperformed the other single sector specialists, with a 2.14% total return
  • Dutch and UK focused funds recorded their best quarterly performance in two years with 2.60% and 1.30% respectively.
