The INREV Quarterly Fund Index reported positive total returns for all main strategies this quarter.
This release includes 346 funds with a combined GAV of €297.3 billion as of the end of Q2 2021.
Key highlights:
- The INREV Quarterly Fund Index delivered a Q2 2021 total return of 2.6%, with capital growth and distributed income return improving to 1.8% and 0.75%, respectively
- Core funds posted their strongest results since Q4 2017, further widening the performance gap with the value added funds
- Multi country strategies registered steady growth this quarter, while German funds posted a slight decrease in performance
- Despite negative capital growth, retail funds’ performance turned marginally positive for the first time since 2018 Q3
