A broad-based improvement in Q2 performance for all the European ODCE funds

The Gross Asset Value (GAV) of the 14 ODCE participating funds surpassed the €37 billion and showed a quarter-on-quarter increase of 3.9% 

Key highlights for the INREV European ODCE Index Q2 2021:

  • Driven by an acceleration in capital growth, the European ODCE Index delivered a total return of 2.30% in Q2 2021.
  • The Q2 distributed income return of 0.76% was just slightly below its long-term average
  • Starting from this publication, the European ODCE Index displays the quarterly distribution of total returns, where the threshold of eight funds is met. 
  • The latest results showed a broad-based improvement in performance, with a median total return of 1.99%, up from 1.22% in Q1 2021.

European ODCE Quarterly Index

The Index is wholly comprised of open end core commingled equity real estate funds that have a strategy to invest across pan Europe and across multiple sectors. Funds must comply with a strict eligibility criteria for four consecutive quarters in a row to be included in the index.
