Europa Capital appoints Simon Mitchell as Construction Project Manager, strengthening development platform

Europa Capital, the pan-European real estate investment manager, announces that it has appointed Simon Mitchell to the newly created role of Construction Project Manager to further strengthen its development capabilities whilst enhancing best practice construction processes.
 
Simon will be responsible for the oversight of construction activities across Europa Capital’s pan-European value add fund series and core fund, the Europa Diversified Income Fund (“EDIF”), ensuring projects are in line with the business’ sustainable development & ESG strategy. Working closely with the team, a focus of the role will be to ensure projects are delivering on our ESG commitments, as well as embedding best practice in its construction, supplier and contract management. Simon will report to the Head of Sustainability & Development, Lynn Smith.
 
Simon is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with c. 10 years of project management experience in both the UK and Europe across a diverse range of sectors including residential, offices, mixed use, hotels and student accommodation. He joins from Quartz Project Services.
