Tax and Regulations

INREV represents our members’ interests by increasing policymakers’ awareness and understanding of the role and importance of real estate investment in Europe. With our presence in Brussels, we can give members first-hand insights into the development and implementation of regulatory, tax and policy initiatives. We also develop aligned industry responses while sharing information on issues affecting our industry with international and national associations.

Key topics include OECD/BEPS, ATADCapital Markets UnionSolvency IIAIFMD and sustainability related regulations.

We hold a monthly Tax and Regulations Briefing call, where members dial-in to hear a presentation and ask experts questions on hot topics. They can also listen to recordings of past briefing calls.

INREV publishes an annual Tax and Regulations Guide, which provides information on issues in 18 different European countries.

Join us on 16 April at 10:00 CET for an online briefing, where Sofia Cordeiro from INREV will highlight the main findings of the paper. A representative from Savills will offer practical insights into how to enhance biodiversity in existing buildings, and Lucas Wouters from APG will provide an investor perspective on assessing biodiversity risks across real estate portfolios.
