Investor Universe Study

The Investor Universe Comparison Study 2019 consolidates the findings of the seven individual Investor Universe studies undertaken in late 2018 and early 2019 for Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

The French edition of the Investor Universe Study focuses on investors domiciled in France. The study looks at real estate’s role in French institutional investment, describing the overall investment landscape as well as investigating investors’ motivations for holding real estate and the ways these are being implemented. 

The Italian edition of the Investor Universe Study focuses on investors domiciled in Italy. The study looks at real estate’s role in Italian institutional investment, describing the overall investment landscape as well as investigating investors’ motivations for holding real estate and the ways these are being implemented. 

The Dutch edition of the Investor Universe Study focuses on investors domiciled in the Netherlands. The study looks at real estate’s role in Dutch institutional investment, describing the overall investment landscape as well as investigating investors’ motivations for holding real estate and the ways these are being implemented. 

The Swedish edition of the Investor Universe Study focuses on investors domiciled in Sweden. The study looks at real estate’s role in Swedish institutional investment, describing the overall investment landscape as well as investigating investors’ motivations for holding real estate and the ways these are being implemented. 

The Finnish edition of the Investor Universe Study focuses on investors domiciled in Finland. The study looks at real estate's role in Finnish institutional investment, describing the overall investment landscape as well as investigating investors' motivations for holding real estate, and the ways these are being implemented. 

The German edition of the Investor Universe Study focuses on investors domiciled in Germany. The study looks at real estate’s role in German institutional investment, describing the overall investment landscape as well as investigating investors’ motivations for holding real estate and the ways these are being implemented. 

The UK edition of the Investor Universe Study focuses on investors domiciled in the United Kingdom. The study looks at real estate’s role in UK institutional investment, describing the overall investment landscape as well as investigating investors’ motivations for holding real estate and the ways these are being implemented. 

Investor Universe Surveys are conducted by INREV to capture the size and composition of the European institutional non-listed real estate universe and the real estate strategies of institutional investors. Surveys from 2012 are available for Italy. A comparison study is also available bringing together information from these European countries. Snapshots are publicly available, while full reports are available for members only, please login if you cannot view all of the downloads below.
