Altera and Dura Vermeer sign rental housing deal for Spijkenisse’s Boston and Baltimore towers

Amsterdam, 18 June 2024 – Real estate investor Altera Vastgoed NV (Altera) has announced at the Provada real estate fair last week in Amsterdam, that it has signed a purchase/construction agreement with Dura Vermeer Bouw Zuid West BV (Dura Vermeer) for the purchase of 171 rental homes and 124 accompanying parking spaces as part of the Waterfront project in Spijkenisse. The Waterfront project consists of approximately 750 properties distributed across six buildings, which will be developed and constructed in three phases. A primary school is also planned near the buildings.

Altera has acquired the Boston residential tower (105 rental units) and part of the Baltimore residential tower (66 rental units) in Spijkenisse. The remaining 75 properties in the Baltimore building will be put up for sale on the open market. In addition to the rental properties, Altera has acquired 124 internal parking spaces under the roof park.
