Moderated by Fredi Werner, DWS, this year’s seminar takes a unique approach, concentrating on the influence of recent macro-political and economic trends from European elections on tax and regulatory policies affecting real estate investment.
Our keynote speaker, Sandrell Sultana, will provide an in-depth analysis of broad political trends and their impact on the economy and government policies across the EU and UK. Sandrell is Head of European Policy at Stripe and a prominent Brussels insider.
Michael Newell (Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft) will deliver a technical update on upcoming regulations, notably AIFMD Level 2 and the SFDR his colleague Adam Blakemore will follow with an update on tax regulations.
Vanessa Muscara (Europa), member of the INREV Research Committee, will present the committee's perspectives on how macro-political and economic risks impact real estate investment strategies, including reflections on recent election results. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Keith O’Donnell (Atoz).
