The strategic importance of ESG as part of investment decision-making requires real estate professionals to remain current on best practice for this fast-moving topic. Our new Advanced ESG one and half day course enables those professionals that already have a good understanding of ESG to strengthen their strategic approach and gain further understanding of the practical implementation of ESG initiatives for non-listed real estate. The course will move away from theory to deepen knowledge through industry presentations, case studies and peer group discussions.
The Attendance Fee (group dinner and hotel accommodation included) is:
€1350 for INREV members
€1500 for non-members
If you are not an INREV member and wish to register, please contact INREV Academy.
Day one will begin with a welcome lunch followed by an update on ESG-related regulations as well as case studies and peer discussions on achieving net zero at a portfolio and asset level. Day one will end with a dinner with a chance to network with your peers from across Europe.
Day two will include topics such as how investors assess climate risks, the implementation of ESG through the life cycle of an asset, and a panel discussion to identify and address the barriers to incorporating ESG across portfolios and the opportunities that this can present. The course will end with presentations on more emerging topics related to incorporating sustainability considerations into property valuations and investing with impact.
The course is targeted at mid to senior level industry professionals with content designed for those that already have a good understanding of ESG-related matters. Our programme will provide a structure for the day’s topics but it is expected that participants contribute to the group’s knowledge through active participation and sharing case studies and examples.
Location
There is no pre-requisite for this course, however, we do recommend that participants have first participated in our ESG Essentials course before moving onto this advanced course. If participants have participated in previous INREV ESG training courses, that is also considered a good foundation.
This course is open to INREV members and non-members and counts towards the INREV Academy Certificate for Non-listed Real Estate Investments.
