Knight Frank appoints new Head of Central London Property Management

Global property consultancy Knight Frank has appointed Andrew Child as its new Head of Central London Property Management.

In his new role, Andrew will work closely with Michael Lewis, Head of Property & Asset Management, and leverage his experience in the Central London office market to further expand the existing and highly successful Central London Property Management team.

With extensive experience in managing central London offices, particularly trophy buildings, Andrew will work closely with clients to provide expert advice on increasing the value of standing assets and attracting and retaining occupiers. Through innovative sustainability and technological solutions, Andrew’s focus will be on extending properties’ lifespan and modernising them in light of post-Covid living and working patterns.

Andrew joins Knight Frank from JLL, where he spent over 13 years specialising in commercial property management, leading the firm’s Central London asset management division and overseeing a team of 30 surveyors. Andrew is an expert in large commercial office properties in the capital and has worked on several high-profile London assets including 22 Bishopsgate and 60 London Wall. Andrew created and led JLL’s Design for Management team, giving him valuable expertise in fit-out and refurbishment planning as well as project delivery and budget management.
