The Q3 2021 INREV German Vehicles Quarterly Index reported a total return of 1.53%, its strongest performance in 21 years.
This release includes 214 funds with a combined GAV of €186.2 billion as of the end of Q3 2021.
Key highlights:
- The strong performance of the INREV German Vehicles Quarterly Index was mostly driven by a 48 bps increase in capital growth
- Publikumsfonds saw Q3 2021 total return improve to 1.35%, up from 0.63% reported in Q2. Spezialfonds continue to outperform with 1.75% this quarter, albeit the performance gap between the two fund groups narrowed to the lowest level in six years
- Germany focused vehicles reported a 109 bps improvement capital growth this quarter, placing the strategy firmly in the lead of the regional strategies in Q3 2021
