On Friday 26 November, INREV has filed a response to the RICS consultation on Sustainability and ESG in commercial property valuation.
INREV has responded on a number of points including a suggestion to include a stronger focus on climate risk and its impact on property valuation, implications and disclosure of ESG KPI’s following the wave of new and expected ESG related regulations (e.g. SFDR) and more standardised definitions of sustainability-related terms used in valuation reports.
