Steady progress in INREV Guidelines compliance for investor reporting

The latest Trends in Investor Reporting Study 2024 reveals that aggregated compliance with the INREV Guidelines has reached 89%, highlighting consistent improvements in providing timely and relevant information to investors.

This stable compliance rate, compared to 90% in 2021, reflects steady adherence to reporting standards and sustained awareness and adoption of the newly revised INREV Guidelines across key modules.

Key highlights include: 

  • Reporting module: Compliance reached 86%.
  • Sustainability module: Achieved the highest compliance at 98%, a significant improvement from 85% in 2021 for the recommended sustainability guidelines.
  • Property Valuation module: Maintained one of the highest compliance levels at 97%.
  • Performance Measurement module: Reported compliance stood at 86%.
  • INREV NAV: Adopted by 91% of participating funds.
  • Fees and Expense Metrics module: Compliance increased to 87%, up from 85% in 2021, including metrics such as TGER and REER.
  • ODCE Index Funds: Represented approximately 30% of respondents.
