The INREV German Vehicles Quarterly Index returned 0.83% in the third quarter of 2020, in line with the Q2 performance.
Key highlights of the German Vehicles Index Q3 2020:
- After the initial slowdown in performance first reported in Q4 2019, the INREV German Vehicles Index showed a steady performance this quarter. The 12 months rolling total return stood at 4.12%, still above the 5-year average of 4.0%.
- Spezialfonds posted a total quarterly return of 1.24%, some 65 bps above the Publikumsfonds’ Q3 equivalent of 0.59%. The difference was equally stark between the stronger performing Germany focused strategies and those focused on Europe excl Germany.
- The residential sector outperformed all other single sector strategies in Q3, with a 2.81% total return.
