Led by Matthew Ryall (Talentzio), this course explores the principles and practical realities of portfolio construction, providing valuable insights into the strategic decisions that drive investment performance and portfolio development.
The course will cover:
- The theory and practice of portfolio construction and the realities of diversification
- The role of the macroeconomy, property market cycles and long-term megatrends in shaping portfolios
- Real estate's role within a multi-asset portfolio and related access routes
- Leverage and other strategic issues, including expected versus realised returns and the impact of fee structures
- Fund and manager selection, including sourcing techniques and due diligence
