IQ blog: new Asset Level Index analytics

 LinkedIn   email

In our latest IQ blog, we introduce enhanced analytics for the Asset Level Index, providing deeper insights into asset-level performance across Europe. Covering assets worth over €190 billion with more than a decade of historical data, the Asset Level Index’s new outputs offer investment managers, multi-managers, and investor members a more detailed view of performance drivers.

Key enhancements include:

  • Asset-level contribution – Members can now assess how individual assets impact overall portfolio returns, comparing absolute and relative performance at both fund and segment levels.
  • City-level granularity – The addition of city-level data, covering over 150 cities, enables more refined analysis of market dynamics. Regional segmentations, such as Nordics or Southern Europe, further enhance benchmarking capabilities.
  • Performance attribution – A step-by-step guide helps members conduct allocation and selection effect analyses, identifying whether performance results from strategic allocation or asset selection decisions.

For more details on the new outputs, read the IQ blog below or contact the INREV Research team for a demo.
