INREV and EREF policy recommendations

INREV has developed a set of recommendations for new EU policy makers for the upcoming mandate. We recommend simplifying complex rules, making sustainability regulations more manageable, using better data to support policy proposals, and ensuring proportional compliance rules to reduce costs and administrative burdens.

These recommendations substitute the broader European Real Estate Forum initiative supported by 17 real estate associations. Organisations call for promoting long-term investment by prioritising competitiveness over regulation and delivering the green transition.

The policy recommendations are expected to be a cornerstone in discussions with EU policymakers, as the real estate sector plays a pivotal role in Europe's economic growth and environmental goals.
