PGIM Real Estate has appointed Cathy Marcus and Raimondo Amabile as co-CEOs of the business. The US company announced Marcus and Amabile will jointly run the platform as they expand existing global and regional roles. In addition, Sebastiano Ferrante has been appointed head of Europe, expanding his existing role as deputy head of Europe, said PGIM in a statement.
The changes follow PGIM’s announcement on the formation of PGIM Private Alternatives under the leadership of Eric Adler as the newly appointed president and CEO. Adler is currently the President and CEO of PGIM Real Estate.
Marcus will retain her responsibilities as global chief operating officer, and Amabile will retain his responsibilities as global chief investment officer.
Adler is leading the private alternatives arm with some $310.9 billion (€289 billion) of assets spread across real estate, agriculture, private credit, and private equity.
