In the summer of 2021, the logistics property company announced its intention to expand its presence outside the Nordic region with its first venture in Poland. As a first step, Logicentres acquired the Polish company BIK SA and its current portfolio, with the total logistics space estimated to be more than 115,000 square metres.
Logicentres is now beginning the expansion at Nowa Wies Wroclawska in Wroclaw, south-west Poland. The expansion will add a total of 22,500 square metres space. Atlas Ward has been chosen as General Contractor, and the project is being developed on speculative basis due to the leasing dynamics in the Wroclaw market. In line with Logicentres’ sustainability profile, the expansion of the property in Wroclaw will be of a high standard with careful selection of materials used for the construction.
Wroclaw is in a strategically important location with a high population density, large factory clusters and easy access to the E4 European motorway.
