Published on 13 Oct 2026

IPUT Real Estate Dublin is conducting a five-year longitudinal research study, ‘Making Impact’, at Wilton Park to examine how investment in public realm and placemaking contributes to social value and financial performance. The study explores how improvements to public spaces influence the way a place is used and the commercial outcomes that follow. The findings highlight the relationship between placemaking, community engagement and commercial performance, providing insights into how social value investment can support long-term real estate value creation.
