If you ever wondered how INREV spreads the word through the industry, then the responsibility lies at the feet of Johlyn da Prato, Marketing Communications Manager. Johlyn makes sure that members are aware of the benefits that INREV membership offers and promotes INREV as the voice of the non-listed real estate to the wider industry.
“How we promote INREV continues to evolve. Traditional methods such as through the press and speaking opportunities ensure we keep our profile raised in the industry. However, with the advent of social media we can also look at new methods to make information accessible for members. This includes a new INREV mobile website which is to be launched later this month, LinkedIn or the membership videos that we have just launched on the website,” said Johlyn.
She has been with INREV for seven years and was initially also responsible for setting up the training programme alongside marketing communications. However, in line with INREV’s growth she moved to being solely responsible for marketing four years ago.
This IQ magazine is also her responsibility and she is keen not to do it alone. “We definitely want the magazine to be a two way street. Members should see it as their magazine so if they have ideas for articles or topics they want to see covered, they should get in touch.” Johlyn has a wide range of marketing experience in various industries such as advertising, alcoholic beverages and digital printing. She’s Irish with the Netherlands being the latest – albeit longerterm – stop on an international tour having previously worked in London, Dublin and New York.
