The proportion of total waste which is reused. Any operation by which products and components that are not waste are used again for the same purpose for which they were conceived. This may involve cleaning or small adjustments so it is ready for the next use without significant definition (ref: ESRS E5).
Note: ESRS uses terms recovery operation type (preparation for reuse, recycling) and waste treatment type with respect to disposal routes (incineration, landfilling, other disposal operations)
