Co-Investment
An ownership interest in an investment alongside a fund, typically by an investor in the fund but also potentially by an investor not invested in the fund; When two or more pension funds or groups of funds share ownership of a real estate investment; relative ownership is always based on the amount of capital contributed; An arrangement in which an investment manager or adviser co-invests its own capital alongside the investor.
