Advisory Board or Committee
A body of individuals and/or representatives of entities that advises the board of directors and/or management of a fund or organization but does not have authority to vote on corporate matters or investment management decisions of the respective fund or organization; appointed advisory committee members bring unique knowledge and skills that augment the knowledge and skills of the board of directors and/or management in order to more effectively guide the organization or fund.
